A Welcoming Presence
The Social Chair was designed to feel approachable, modern, and familiar. Moving away from traditional barber shop clichés, the brand focuses on creating an inviting atmosphere where great haircuts and meaningful conversations happen naturally.
Discovery

Challenge
It's a shame 90% of barber shop logos look exactly the same. How can we use the same visual language, (clippers, razors, combs) but in a unique and inviting way.

Goal
Create a space rooted in growth, community, and a grounded approach to the craft. Not a shop built on trends or clichés, but one with a clear point of view and a strong sense of identity.
Building the Identity

Option 1: Personal Mascot

Option 2: All About the Chair

Option 3: Blade Mascot

Approved Board
Of the three creative directions presented, the orange and dark green color palette stood out for its warmth, approachability, and natural character. It captured the welcoming atmosphere we wanted the brand to embody while helping it feel distinct from traditional barber shop aesthetics. The client connected strongly with every mascot concept developed during the exploration phase, so rather than choosing just one, we incorporated all of them into the final identity system.

The Brand System

Logo & Supporting Assets
Custom illustrations, mascot characters, patterns, and graphic elements were developed to add personality and flexibility without competing with the core mark.
